Disney released a second, equally colorful trailer for Ava DuVernay’s upcoming A Wrinkle In Time adaptation tonight, unleashing a dazzling video that takes Meg Murray, her little brother Charles Wallace, and their friend Calvin on a technicolor ride across the universe, courtesy of Oprah (and her pals).
The new trailer is full of exciting tidbits from Madeleine L’engle’s original book, including shots of the ominous Man With Red Eyes, Zach Galifianakis as the advice-granting Happy Medium, and the famous ant-based visualization in which Meg (Storm Reid) demonstrates how one actually goes about wrinkling time and space. DuVernay’s film opens March 9, 2018.
