The opening credits for the new Roseanne are still going around that same old kitchen table

We might be a little worried about the heart of ABC’s upcoming Roseanne revival, but the show certainly seems to have its classic aesthetic down pat. The network released the opening credit sequence for the new series this weekend, and it should serve up a healthy dose of nostalgia for anyone with fond memories of Tuesday nights in the mid-’90s.

Mimicking the look of the original series, we’re treated to yet another long, slow circular pan around the Conner family kitchen, as people stream in and out of frame, laughing and arguing in equal measure. If anything, it even seems a little more cheerful than the more bicker-y beats of the original intros, even if it still closes on the same old sound of Roseanne Barr loudly cracking up.
