The Tick's Griffin Newman says he regrets working on new Woody Allen movie

This weekend, before Woody Allen had even made his awful statement on Harvey Weinstein, The Tick star Griffin Newman shared some thoughts on how he feels about appearing in Woody Allen’s next movie (not Wonder Wheel, but the one after that). He says it’s just a small role, but he regrets taking the job so much that he’s going to donate his whole salary to RAINN—the Rape, Abuse, And Incest National Network. Newman explains all of this in a very lengthy Twitter thread, saying that he believes Allen is guilty of sexually abusing his adopted daughter Dylan Farrow when she was a kid, but he didn’t want to quit the movie because he thought it would be an educational experience and he was scared to jeopardize his career by making waves.

He later posted a follow-up thread, giving some more information on his reasoning and responding to some questions that people had about his original posts.
