The World's End

Rounding out the “Cornetto Trilogy” of zombie-comedy Shaun Of The Dead and action-comedy Hot Fuzz, here is the full trailer for sci-fi-comedy The World’s End, Edgar Wright’s third film with Simon Pegg and Nick Frost. Instead of focusing on the “getting the gang back together” aspect, this puts the Invasion Of The Body Snatchers vibe front and center—and adds a hedge-jumping gag to that already obligatory fence-jumping shot at the end of the teaser. It also offers a look at Rosamund Pike’s role, and just how the film shifts from a movie about old friends on an epic pub crawl to battling a town full of glowing robots with bank-security blue ink for blood. The title might still be confused with This Is The End, but this appears to be much better suburban-invasion comedy than something like The Watch.
