This might be our first look at the heroes of Solo: A Star Wars Story
Director Ron Howard has been carefully teasing his Han Solo movie, Solo: A Star Wars Story, all in what seems like a blatant attempt to keep people excited about the movie even after original directors Phil Lord and Chris Miller were fired. He has yet to share anything particularly informative, though, like a teaser or a photo of some of the actors in character. However, a mysterious source has now released what is supposedly international promotional art for Solo, showing stars Alden Ehrenreich, Donald Glover, and Emilia Clarke and what seem to be Star Wars-y outfits. There’s also what seems to be a weird version of the Millennium Falcon, implying that the movie might cover a young Han Solo making some junky modifications to the ship.
Here are the images:
Now, it’s important to point out that /Film has received confirmation from Disney and Lucasfilm that they didn’t make this image, meaning it’s definitely not official art, and there’s also a very good chance that this is totally fake. It would pretty easy to photoshop all of this, especially since Chewie looks the same as always, Donald Glover could totally pull off that look in real life, and the retro Falcon (if that’s what it is) could have been drawn up by an amateur ship designer. It’s possible that whoever made this did it with official images that haven’t been released yet, though, so it could be real even if it’s not real.
