Travis Scott was arrested in Miami early Thursday morning, according to CNN. The rapper was charged with trespassing property after being given a warning and disorderly intoxication. Police confirmed that Scott “was involved in a disturbance/dispute with the crew” of a charter boat at the Miami Beach Marina. Per the outlet, officers were called to the marina and Scott was asked to leave, but he returned and got into another dispute with the crew. He was asked to leave a second time, and when he refused, he was arrested. CNN reports that a $650 bond was posted for the artist on Thursday morning. Scott seemingly responded to his legal troubles in a post to Twitter/X on Thursday, writing simply, “Lol”.

Next week, Scott is set to embark on the European leg of his Circus Maximus Tour, his first tour since the Astroworld Festival tragedy. Last month, he made headlines for getting into a physical altercation with Alexander “A.E.” Edwards at a Cannes afterparty. According to a witness (for Entertainment Tonight), the party’s host Richie Akiva announced Scott, rapper Tyga, and A.E. on stage: “Right after that announcement, Travis immediately snatched the mic out of Richie’s hand, and said, ‘No, we’re not doing this.’ Alexander said, ‘Let him show love.’” The situation then escalated into a physical confrontation between Scott, A.E., and others. Per ET, “Scott tried to push Edwards off the stage. Edwards, maintaining his balance, retaliated by dragging Scott across the stage and eventually throwing him off. The struggle continued with Edwards jumping on top of Scott, resulting in a scuffle captured on video.”

A.E. later told TMZ that he has “no hard feelings” towards Scott. A.E.’s girlfriend Cher—yes, that Cher—was in attendance at the party (having performed a the AmfAR Gala earlier in the evening), and posted on Twitter/X, “I’m Proud of Alexander. He Didn’t Start The fight against 2 Men,… He finished it, Gotta Love Him.”
