We Are What We Are

A mother dies under mysterious circumstances, her survivors vow to carry on a sinister family tradition, and human remains wash up in a small town in this tense trailer from up-and-coming horror director Jim Mickle. The film is a remake of the Mexican thriller Somos Lo Que Hay, which came out to some acclaim in 2010. Along with the newly American setting, Mickle also switches up genders, with the original film having the father die and his wife and sons being force to carry on.
