Z: The Beginning Of Everything has met its end
Looks like Amazon Studios has thought better of returning to the jazz age, as the streaming platform is taking back its renewal of Z: The Beginning Of Everything. Starring Christina Ricci as Zelda Fitzgerald, Z centered on the early life of the novelist and muse to husband, F. Scott, whom you might have heard of. The A.V. Club praised the show’s pacing and “previously unexplored feminist take on what Zelda’s life must have been like,” so the season-two renewal back in April was welcome but not a surprise. Stranger Things’ producer Karl Gajdusek had been named showrunner before writing began on the new episodes. But now Deadline reports that, despite previously touting the “good pitch for season two,”Amazon has decided not to move forward with it.
