Zoë Kravitz, Laura Dern, and Shailene Woodley will all be back for more Big Little Lies

Variety has confirmed that most of the (non-murdered) cast of HBO’s limited series sensation Big Little Lies will return when it comes back later this year. The network announced today that Zoë Kravitz, Shailene Woodley, and Laura Dern will all be back for the show’s second season, which will deal in large part with the bloody aftermath of its first.

The trio rejoins series stars (and executive producers) Reese Witherspoon and Nicole Kidman, as well as Meryl Streep, who’s joined up as the mother of Alexander Skarsgård’s Percy, who didn’t make it out of the show’s initial run alive. Woodley and Dern were both recognized at last year’s Emmys for their roles on the show, with Dern ultimately winning for Outstanding Supporting Actress. The series is written by David E. Kelley, and Andrea Arnold will direct all seven episodes of season two.
